Plastic file box organizer found in hospital

A plastic file box found in a hospital emergency room in California has tested positive for plastic contamination, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) said in a statement.

The discovery was made on May 23 when a plastic pumpkins tray was being examined, the statement said.

The study was published online in the journal Infectious Diseases.

The findings, which are limited to three individuals, indicate that the plastic file cabinet contained more than 1,000 plastic pumpkin tubes.
