‘Unprecedented’ growth in plastic pollution – World Health Organization

The world’s plastic pollution is becoming more of a global crisis.

Plastic pollution kills hundreds of millions of people worldwide each year.

The UN has warned that the number of plastic bags in use in the global economy has doubled in the last 20 years, and that the world’s supply of plastic is now the largest source of plastic pollution in the world.

The UN Environment Programme says the world is currently using about 400 billion plastic bags annually, up from an estimated 1.3 billion a decade ago.

The report, released on Tuesday, said that global demand for plastic has increased from 5.7 billion bags in 1995 to more than 40 billion in 2013.

The figure includes plastic bags made from paper, paperboard, cardboard, and polystyrene (PS).

The increase in plastic waste, however, is not evenly distributed across the world, with the report finding that the highest levels of plastic waste in the U.S. are in New York and California.

The report also found that nearly 60% of plastic plastic waste from the U.”s inland waterways is in California, where plastic bag usage is at its highest level in 40 years.

According to the report, in the United States alone, more than 7 billion plastic bag are used every year, with plastic bags being used in the following industries:
