by Engadgets, June 11, 2018 3:16:22It looks like the next generation of plastic cutting boards will feature a magnetic sensor.
The new board comes with built-in magnetic detection, which means the device can detect when a piece of plastic has been removed from a cutting board.
According to the company, the sensor measures the distance between the two ends of the board.
It then calculates how much the piece of wood or metal will be removed.
The magnetic sensor will also allow the device to calculate the strength of the piece.
The board has a 10-micron thick glass-like coating on both sides.
A number of other features were announced at the event.
The company says it will have a range of sizes and price points.
It will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2020.
The board also comes with a magnetic lock, which makes it possible to store and unlock the cutting board at a specific time and place.
The device is also rechargeable.
The company has partnered with the German consumer electronics company Lutron, which manufactures the Lutronics X1 microcontroller.
The X1 is the first microcontroller to support magnetic memory.
