Plastic food containers are among the most dangerous containers on the planet.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, they’re the most common source of foodborne illness in the United States.
They’re also one of the most commonly used containers.
In the past, plastic food bottles were used to store dairy, beef, fish, poultry, and other foods that aren’t always available in plastic.
But since they’re now becoming the new normal, the Centers of Disease Control has started using a plastic food-safety standard to label food containers in hopes of reducing their usage.
“We’ve got to make sure that all plastic food products are labeled appropriately so that consumers can be aware of the potential dangers and the hazards of using plastic containers in the future,” CDC Director Dr. David Satcher told reporters in a press conference earlier this year.
Plastic food-safe containers are now included in all the major food companies’ packaging guidelines.
But some manufacturers have been resistant to making their own.
According the American Beverage Association, plastic containers were used in less than 1% of food and beverage packaging sold in the U.S. in 2016.
According of a 2015 report from the Food Standards Institute, only 0.1% of packaged food items were actually labeled as plastic.
That was down from 0.8% in 2010.
Manufacturers and retailers are also making strides to reduce their use of plastic containers.
The FDA is now encouraging manufacturers to adopt a standard that’s more durable, less likely to break and has fewer potential hazards.
Manufacture of plastic food packaging in the country is still relatively high, with more than 2.6 billion metric tons produced in 2016, according to the Food Marketing Institute.
Manufactured food containers have become more common in recent years.
In 2014, about 4.7 million metric tons were produced per year.
By 2020, that number will likely reach 7.5 million metric tonnes.
But a new study by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin found that a number of factors have contributed to the proliferation of plastic-filled food containers.
One major factor is the proliferation and increasing popularity of food-serving devices like the crock pot and electric stoves.
These devices have been widely used in developing countries.
But these devices have also become popular in industrialized countries where there are more disposable income options.
The researchers looked at the growth of food packaging through 2014 to 2020, and they found that the number of food serving devices tripled between 2008 and 2016.
In countries where food preparation is relatively simple, like in the Philippines and India, the growth rate of food containers is much lower.
And in countries like China and the United Arab Emirates, there’s a higher number of disposable income alternatives.
A second factor was the growing popularity of online shopping, and this has also increased the number and variety of plastic foods and containers.
Another factor was a growing number of companies that were selling food-filled toys and toys that are packaged with plastic containers that contain animal parts.
Researchers looked at these online shopping sites from 2010 to 2016.
The growth of these online food-selling outlets has been a key factor in the rapid growth of plastic bags, the researchers found.
One of the biggest online food sellers is Amazon.
Amazon sells about 2.3 billion plastic bags per year, according the company.
